INTERNATIONAL CENTRE RULES
No trailers or RVs will be allowed to park or set up
immediately
adjacent to Building 6, by order of the Fire Marshall's
office.
A separate area will be designated for parking of such
vehicles.
Vehicles must not block loading dock #51 (for garbage truck)
or,
during Thursday evening's setup, docks 51 to 53.
NO ELECTRICAL HOOK-UPS for RVs &/or CAMPERS will be
available.
EXTENSION CORDS FOUND RUNNING INTO HALL 6 WILL BE CUT.
This rule is non-negotiable with both the International
Centre
and the inspecting Fire Marshall.
Parking will be controlled strictly by Police attendants.
Please use the X-pens inside the building.
Grooming areas will be marked.
PLEASE set up within the designated areas.
NO DOGS will be allowed entrance or be permitted to pass
through the area
associated with the front Entrance to Hall 6. Exhibitors must
use
the Lift Door 50 and/or the "man door" right beside
it
to access the grooming area at all times.
There will be a fee for general admission. The entry
acknowledgement will
allow free entry for only one person per dog entered, as per
CKC rules.

4.1.3 A judge
officiating at a show held under these Rules shall not
be subjected to indignities of any kind during the progress of the show.
It shall be the duty and obligation of the club holding the show to see
that this Rule is effectively carried out.
A VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE :
Any Exhibitor who allows a dog to defecate or urinate, other than in
the designated Exercise Areas, without immediately cleaning up or arranging for
clean-up may not be permitted to exhibit at future shows held by this Club.
PRIVATE EXERCISE PENS
No private exercise pens will be allowed after the opening hour of the
shows.
Exhibitors are asked to co-operate in taking down their exercise pens at that
time.
One exercise pen per 10 dogs shown or owned by one person will be allowed.
This rule will be enforced.
IN TRANSIT AREA
There will an "In Transit Area" provided for dogs which are
enroute to or
from other shows. NO DOG MAY BE PLACED IN THIS AREA IF IT IS ENTERED AT THE
SHOW.
Only dogs that are registered or eligible to be shown under CKC Rules can use
the "In Transit Area". Owners or Agents who wish to use this
facility, please
see the Show Superintendent upon arrival at the Show.
EXHIBITORS ARE EXPECTED TO KNOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR DOG SHOWS
AND OBEDIENCE TRIALS. BOOKLETS ON DOG SHOW AND OBEDIENCE TRIAL RULES ARE
AVAILABLE FROM THE C.K.C. FOR A NOMINAL FEE.
"THE SHOW GIVING CLUB" will use due care and diligence for the
welfare of
the dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any
liability
in the event of accident, or other misfortunes, to either dogs, exhibitors or
patrons.
If because of riot, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of
management,
it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of Entry fees will
be made.
19.7 It shall be the duty and obligation of the show-giving club to see that a
judge,
club official, volunteer, or any participant at an event held under these rules
is not
subject to indignities. The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall promptly
report to
the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall
have
the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report
indicating
that this has occurred.
Dogs need only arrive 15 minutes before scheduled judging time and will be
excused
from each show when not required for further judging. If a dog is not at
ringside
after it has been called three times it will be marked absent. It is the
responsibility
of the exhibitor to have the dog at ringside when the dog's class is scheduled
for judging.
Waiting for dogs will not be possible and handlers with several breeds must
arrange for
an alternate handler if judging times for their breeds conflict.
